Kinda bug and kinda snack, try to grab 'em in your trap… Those lyrics accept undoubtedly been going over and over many people'southward heads for the final few months. Kero Kero Bonito's theme was 1 of the catchiest songs of the year and for fans who want more of the tune, and the game it'southward for, Bugsnax, at that place's good news.
In a recent interview with Kotaku's Ash Parrish, Kevin Zuhn, senior creative manager and author on the game said: "We're all the same figuring out what exactly we want to do post-release, but we're definitely not done working onBugsnax yet." With the game ending on somewhat of a cliffhanger, Zuhn said: "I'd hate to get out that plot thread hanging forever!"
He wouldn't confirm whether that future content would exist part of downloadable content, or if it would exist for a full sequel but information technology looks like somewhere down the line, the story of Bugsnax volition be continued.
In that location will be some minor spoilers for the Bugsnax ending from hither on out, so proceed with caution.
Zuhn also confirmed that the game's catastrophe, which is already pretty night, could have been even darker saying that the cute little Bugsnax "were dangerous parasites" and initially "there was an even worse ending where the Grumpuses become snak-craving zombies that eat each other and then yous."
Leading upward to the PS5 launch, Bugsnax was definitely a fan favourite. The cutesy nature, catchy theme and the articulate inspirations from Viva Pinata and Pokemon Snap ensured the game was high on many players wishlists.
